Historically, quilts were created from the fabrics on hand. These might have been clothes or fabric scraps from other projects. Fern will show you how to work with wool, silk, synthetics, denim and other fabrics using liberated techniques.

Virtual Workshop - String Theory

This class is a “process” versus “product” class, meaning we will focus on learning tips and techniques for making string quilts rather than completing a quilt top. During the workshop, you can focus on making just one style of string blocks or make a sample of multiple types of blocks. This virtual worksop is hosted by The Wandering Foot Quilt Guild.
